SCR 25 by Pollard recommended acceptance of property deeded to state in Gilmer, Texas which currently housed the Dickson Colored Orphanage. Amended by House to require joint committee to investigate property and recommend acceptance by state of donation. No record of Senate appointments found. Each chamber issued separate report. Senate report signed by Beck and Pollard. Senate report recommended acceptance of donation. House report signed by McGill and Giles. House report did not recommend acceptance of donation.
