- Investigate and report back to the Senate the means or method of procedure whereby the political rights of said James E. Ferguson may be restored to him in keeping with law and the Constitution.
Notes
There were two resolutions charging this investigation: SR15 and SR16. They were combined into SR16 on 1/28/1925. The resolutions were introduced in response to Miriam A. Ferguson's campaign declaration that the reason for her candidacy was the removal of the judgment of impeachment against her husband and the restoration of her family name.
