Charges
- Report to the legislature on the alternative care program. The report must include a complete evaluation of the effectiveness of the program and its effect on the number of persons receiving and the quality of care given under nursing home care programs. The report must also contain recommendations relating to whether or not alternate care is a suitable substitute for some kinds of nursing home care and whether there is a continuing need for minimum level nursing care programs, such as Intermediate Care Facility II programs.
