Charges
- Survey the problem of child abuse in Texas with emphasis on determining the nature of the services available from the State and local governments for prevention, assistance, and counseling. Recommendations should be made as to any needed statutory or constitutional changes or additions to combat the problem of child abuse as well as any changes in agency structure or jurisdiction that would make the services of the state more responsive to the problem.
