Charges

  • Study the application of state laws relating to the conduct of public servants, including relevant provisions of Title 8, Penal Code.
  • Adopt and publish interpretive guidelines to aid public servants in the day-to-day application of these laws.
  • Report to the legislature any recommendations the committee may have concerning the revision of these laws necessary to make their application more clear and reasonable.
