- Arrange for the purchase and erection of a suitable monument and fitting memorial to the memory of Andrew Jackson Houston, at his grave in the State Cemetery at Austin, the expense of which to be paid out of the Contingent Expense Fund of the Senate of the 57th Legislature of the State of Texas, and that Mrs. Price Daniel, a descendant of General Sam Houston be invited to serve as consultant to such committee.
