RESOLVED, By the Senate of the State of Texas, the House of Representatives concurring, that a successor committee be appointed to continue the work undertaken by the special Legislative Committee to study the problems of the aged in Texas which was created by the 55th Legislature; that the successor committee be composed of be composed of fifteen members to be named as follows: five (5) members of the Senate, to be appointed by the President of the Senate; five (5) members of the House of Representatives, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives; and five (5) outstanding citizens to be appointed by the Governor of Texas; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the abovementioned successor committee be and it is hereby instructed to continue the study undertaken by its predecessor; that the committee conduct its study and make its recommendations to the next Legislature on the special problems of the aged in matters of, but not limited to, mental and physical health, housing, family relations, employment, income, vocational rehabilitation, recreation and education.
