House Committee on Charges Against Representative James E. Cox, Investigation, Special - 55th R.S. (1957)
- Conduct a prompt and full investigation of the charge made against James E. Cox, and report its findings at the earliest practicable time, together with its recommendations in connection therewith.
- Investigate any matter brought to its attention through the testimony already given, or which may hereafter be given.
Appointed by Speaker 2/27/1957, pursuant to HSR 204. See also: HSR 215, providing that committee shall have authority to investigate certain matters.
