House Committee on House Committee System - 55th R.S. (1957)
- Studying the problem connected with improvement of the committee system of the House. Give careful study and consideration to all phases of the House committee system and to prepare recommendations for a revision of such committee system, whereby the total number of Standing Committees shall be reduced to not more than thirty (30), and shall recommend such other improvements in the committee system which the Interim Committee feels desirable, and shall be instructed to report its findings and recommendations before the convening of the 56th Legislature.
