- Study and make recommendations, regarding the Comptroller's findings found in the Texas Performance Review audit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, with special emphasis on all cost-savings measures, including, but not limited to prison capacity; staffing levels; management, construction and contract procurement practices; physical support operations; agricultural and industrial operations; and any other issues deemed appropriate by the Committee.
