- Investigate the record of the comptroller's office, including accounts of clerks, sheriffs, district and county attorneys, for fees paid by the state, approved by the district judges, which are very extravagant and exorbitant.*
- Ascertain if there has been any such careless or reckless action on the part of the several district judges of this state.*
