Initiate a study of the Texas workers' compensation laws.

Initiate a study of railroad crossings in Texas and how safety at such crossings can be improved and a study of the need for state inspections of rails and rail equipment.

Initiate a study of the application and implementation of the Texas Open Records Act (Article 6525-16a); request the L.B.J. School of Public Affairs to conduct this study in the form of a policy research project.
