* On December 7, 1989, the House adopted a motion providing for adjournment sine die pending the signing of bills and resolutions. The house then stood at ease. The Speaker next called the House to order at 2 p.m. December 11. The House withdrew the motion by which the House adjourned Sine die. Both House and Senate later adjourned on December 12. Between December 7 and December 12, the House stood at ease but did not recess or adjourn, so it was all one legislative day, and House journal entries for December 8 - 12 appear on pages labeled Dec. 7
