Relating to amending certain Statues by fixing the compensation of the first assistant or chief deputy sheriff and other deputy sheriffs in counties where the population is not less than 27,000 and not more than 27,100 inhabitants according to the last preceding Federal Census where the taxable values in said county shall exceed the sum of Fifty million Dollars ($50,000,000) for the last preceding year, the salary of the chief deputy sheriff in any such county shall not exceed Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($2,400.00) per annum and the salary of any other assistant deputy sheriff shall not exceed Two Thousand One Hundred ($2,100.00) Dollars per annum.
