SB 230, 46th R.S.
Relating to providing that if any Judge of the Supreme Court, of the Court of Criminal Appeals, or of any Court of Civil Appeals, or any District Court in this State shall request, recommend to, or endorse any person for any position or office in this State the salary of which is paid in whole or in part by the State, to the person or officer charged with the duty of filling such position or office, he shall be deemed and held to be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be punished by a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) and shall be removed from office.
