Relating to amending legislation relating to prorating the appropriation for Confederate pensions among the pensioners; to provide that women who were wives of Confederate soldiers or sailors and who after the death of such soldiers or sailors have remarried, but who have been separated from or abandoned by their husbands and living apart from them for a period of three years next prior to her application for a pension, and who are in indigent circumstances, may be eligible to the grant of a pension.
