Relating to amending certain statute levying a poll tax on every male person between the ages of twenty-one and sixty years, resident of this State on the first day of January of each year, so as to provide that soldiers, marines and seamen who enlisted in or were drafted into the United States Army during the years 1917 and 1918 and who were at the time of their induction into the military or naval service of the United States, resident citizens of the State of Texas, shall be exempt from the payment of poll taxes for the years 1918 and 1919, and further providing that such persons may vote without the payment of poll taxes in all elections held in this State during the years 1918 and 1919.
