SB 1, 36th 1st C.S.
Relating to declaring that the war with the Imperial Government of Germany is a great public calamity in all counties, cities and towns of the State, and declaring that because of said calamity and by reason of the inadequate provisions of the laws of this State the discharged sailors, soldiers and marines of this State were prevented from paying their poll taxes; and, therefore, declaring that said sailors, soldiers and marines should not and ought not to be compelled to pay their poll taxes due or assessed against them for the years A.D. 1918 and A.D. 1919.
