Relating to amending the Section 1 of an act granting permission to B.F. Gholson and J.W. Benson, or their assigns, to bring suit against the State of Texas in the District Court of Lampasas county, to ascertain the amount, if any, due them for services rendered the State of Texas as rangers or soldiers, passed on the 13th day of March, 1899, and become a law on the 24th day of March, 1899.
