SB 292, 25th R.S.
Relating to making it unlawful for any fire, or fire marine, or marine insurance company, which is legally licensed to transact the business of fire and marine insurance in this State, to place or cause to be placed, to write or cause to be written, any contract or policy of insurance against loss by fire or the perils of the sea on any property in this State, except through legally authorized or licensed agents resident in the State, and prescribing penalties for violation of same, and to further prescribe conditions to be complied with by any fire, or fire and marine, or marine insurance company, before it shall be licensed or relicensed by the Commissioner to do business in this State.
