HB 80, 53rd 1st C.S.
Relating to authorizing school districts having all or the major portion of their territory situated within counties of forty thousand (40,000) inhabitants or more, according to the last preceding Federal Census, to levy, assess and collect a combined bond and maintenance tax not to exceed Two ($2.00) Dollars on the One Hundred ($100.00) dollars valuation of taxable property therein; providing for the maximum bond tax of not to exceed One ($1.00) Dollar on the One Hundred ($100.00) dollars valuation; providing that such tax shall be effective until authorized by a vote of the majority of qualified property taxpaying voters residing in such districts and owning taxable property therein which has been duly rendered for taxation.
