SB 140, 50th R.S.
Relating to providing for the establishment, support, maintenance and direction of a University of the first class for the instruction and training of colored people of this state, to be known as "The Texas State University for Negroes", and to be located at Houston, Harris County; and providing for an Agricultural and Mechanical College for colored students to be known as "The Prairie View Agricultural and Mechanical College", as same is now located at Prairie View, Waller County.
