SB 182, 61st R.S.
Relating to authorizing the Railroad Commission of Texas, to prescribe or adopt safety standards for the transportation of gas and all gas pipeline facilities that are not subject to exclusive federal control, to require record maintenance and reports and to inspect records and facilities, to make certifications and reports and to take all other action requisite to the maintenance of the maximum permissible degree of state control over the safety standards and practices applicable to the transportation of gas and gas pipeline facilities within the borders of this state in accordance with Section 5(a) of the federal Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Act of 1968; prescribing civil penalties for violations.
