Relating to defining and regulating the business of giving bail in criminal and quasi-criminal cases, actions or proceedings; providing for the licensing of persons or corporations who engage in that business in any county in the State of Texas, with a population in excess of 100,000 as taken by the last official federal census, or in counties of a lesser population if the sheriff and county judge in such county agree that a need exists and wish to comply with this Act; providing for the appeal from the County Bail Bond Board, providing for the administration of this Act by the County Bail Bond Control Board; providing for licensing fees; providing certain penalties; declaring legislative intent.
