Proposing an amendment to Article III, Sections 2 and 25 of the Texas Constitution, to provide for an increase in the membership of the State Senate from 31 to 39 members; to fix the membership in the House of Representatives at 150 members; to require apportionment of the Senate according to population; and to delete the limitation that no single county is entitled to more than one Senator.
