Amending Chapter 325, Acts of the 50th Legislature, Regular Session, 1947, as amended, (Article 1269m, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas) by amending Section 16 to increase from six (6) months to twelve (12) months the period within which a department head may complain and file a statement of written charges indefinitely suspending an officer or employee under his supervision or jurisdiction.
