Relating to the establishment of a minimum performance and payment bond for contractors as defined in the Act; excepting contracts with a cost of less than $750 for labor and materials; specifying that the bond must be secured and recoverable in the State of Texas; requiring evidence of a valid bond as part of any transaction or agreement involving a workman's, mechanic's, or materialman's lien; defining certain unlawful and deceptive trade practices.
