SB 466, 64th R.S.
Relating to the regulation of professional liability insurance for persons licensed to practice medicine or podiarty or certified to administer anesthesia in this state and for any hospital licensed under the Texas Hospital Licensing Law; providing the powers, duties, and procedures of the State Board of Insurance, the rights and duties of insurers and rating associations, and the rights of insureds or other affected persons; making certain notices of noncompliances confidential; requiring policies to be made on not less than an annual premium basis; making maintenance tax applicable to insurance written under this Act; providing applicability of other sections of the Insurance Code; providing limitation period within which claims must be filed; providing the extent of application of the Act; providing an effective date and expiration date of the Act; preserving certain causes of action accruing during the effective date.
