Remarks: This Act takes effect September 1, 2001, except Section 12 takes effect immediately; Sections 27 and 28 of the Act and Sections 9, 10, 11, and 12, Chapter 22, Acts of the 57th Legislature, 3rd Called Session, 1962 (Article 6228a-5, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes) take effect June 1, 2002; and Sections 17 and 24 of the Act take effect September 1, 2002.
