Proposing an amendment to section 24, of Article III of the Constitution of the State of Texas, providing that Members of the Legislature shall receive a salary of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars per annum, shall be subject to call at any time, and shall be entitled to mileage at five cents (5¢) a mile for each mile traveled coming and going from the seat of Government.
