DeWitt Relating to authorizing the Board of Directors of Texas A&I University to convey a certain tract of land to the Commissioners Court of Kleberg County, Texas, for the construction of a stadium, parking areas, access roads, and related facilities thereon, and whereby the County of Kleberg shall lease that tract of land, together with improvements thereon, to the Board of Directors of Texas A&I University for the use and benefit of said University for a term of 99 years at a consideration to be mutually agreed upon by said University and said County; authorizing the Board of Directors of Texas A&I University to select and convey to the County of Kleberg, Texas, a tract of land not exceeding 40 acres of upon the campus of Texas A&I University, in Kingsville, Kleberg County, Texas, as a stadium site for the erection and construction of certain improvements; authorizing the Commissioners Court of the County of Kleberg, Texas, at its expense, to erect and construct a stadium, parking areas, access roads, and related facilities upon the tract of land conveyed to said County by Texas A&I University; further authorizing the Commissioners Court of the County of Kleberg to execute a contract of lease with the Board of Directors of Texas A&I University whereby said tract of land, together with all improvements thereon, shall be leased to the Board of Directors of Texas A&I University for the use and benefit of Texas A&I University for a term of 99 years at a consideration to be mutually agreed upon by the contracting parties; providing for reverter of title to the Board of Directors of Texas A&I University under certain conditions and limitations; authorizing and empowering the Board of Regents of Texas A&I University and the Commissioners Court of the County of Kleberg to do any and all things necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Act, including the execution and delivery of the necessary contracts, deeds of conveyance, and lease agreements; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.
