SB 70, 49th R.S.
Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure to provide that in capital cases both State and defendant shall be entitled to 15 preemptory challenges and further providing that when two or more defendants are tried together the State shall be entitled to 8 preemptory challenges for each defendant and each defendant to 8 preemptory challenges and further providing that in capital cases where the death penalty has been waived by the State's Attorney by filing his written waiver and which waiver has been approved by the court both State and defendant shall be entitled to such number of preemptory challenges as is now provided by law in the trial of non-capital felony cases.
