SB 343, 36th R.S.

Relating to amending certain statutes defining connecting carriers by making each of them an agent for the others for certain purposes and fixing their contract relations to shippers; providing that bills of lading, waybills, receipts, checks or other instruments issued by either of such carriers or other proof showing receipt of freight, baggage or property transportation, shall be prima facie evidence of the relations, duties and liabilities of such carriers to the owners or shippers of such freight, baggage or other property transported, notwithstanding, contrary stipulations by any of such carriers.
