Amending Section 2.318 of the Business & Commerce Code, relating to the defense of lack of privity and failure to give notice with respect to a manufacturer's liability in a suit for breach of warranty, express or implied, and prohibiting exclusion or limitation of the operation of this section; adding a Chapter 19 to the Business & Commerce Code, making a manufacturer or other warrantor liable to a retailer for its services and repairs pursuant to warranty and creating a cause of action and authorizing certain remedies in the retailer against the manufacturer or other warrantor, including attorney's fees.
