Collier "represented the Tenth district in the Texas legislature." Relatives: James G. Collier - father, Dr. George W. Collier - son. George W. Collier of Beaumont, birth date 12/8/1860 in Town Bluff, Tyler County. "Dr. Collier has always been a loyal Democrat, and was elected by the Beaumont district as representative in the Twenty-fifth legislature."
