SB 21	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide that a marriage without good faith attempt to obtain license shall be null and void, but that lack of authority of the person who performs the ceremony shall not invalidate the marriage; clerical errors in the license shall not invalidate the marriage; parties who attempt a valid ceremonial marriage but an impediment exists shall in certain instances be deemed married after the impediment is removed; providing that this amendment shall not affect marriages consummated before the Act becomes effective; providing the effective date.
SB 22	Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code to define what shall constitute willfully deserting, neglecting or refusing to provide for the support and maintenance of a wife in necessitous circumstances, and to define what shall constitute willfully deserting, neglecting or refusing to provide for the support and maintenance of one's child or children under eighteen years of age; fixing a penalty; providing that a second conviction for a like offense shall be a felony; providing for severance of any part of this Act held invalid.
SB 33	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing a method for selecting qualified jurors in courts of the 25th Judicial District of Texas.
SB 58	Caption: Relating to amending the Texas Liquor Control Act so as to provide that the inspection fee or charge on liquor (vinous, malt or spirituous) exported from this State, shall not exceed the sum of Five ($5.00) Dollars per shipment; repealing laws in conflict herewith to the extent of such conflict.
SB 103	Caption: Relating to the Texas Automobile Dealers Licensing Act; defining certain words; prohibiting sale of new and used cars in this State except by persons licensed so to do under the provisions of this Act; providing for the issuance and renewal by the Comptroller of the different types of licenses provided for by this Act; prescribing the eligibility requirements for such licenses and the conditions for their renewal, suspension, termination and revocation; declaring that certain acts done in violation of this Act shall be unlawful; investing the Comptroller with authority to conduct hearings and make findings relative complained of violations of this Act and to suspend licenses of persons found guilty of violating this Act and providing for right of appeal and trial de novo of the Comptroller's action in such cases; providing for collection of fees for issuance of licenses under this Act and making an appropriation of so much of such fees as is necessary for enforcement and administration of this Act; providing for certain criminal penalties for certain violations of the provisions of this Act; providing for certain exemptions from the coverage of this Act; providing for optional rescission of sales made in violation of this Act.
SB 113	Caption: Relating to amending certain Statues so as to give the Commissioners' Court authority to require that an annual or biennial independent audit be made of all county books, records and accounts of district, county, and precinct officers, agents, or employees, including regular auditors of the counties and all governmental units of the county, hospitals, farms, and other institutions of the county and all matters pertaining to the fiscal affairs of the county; providing that this authority shall be in addition to the emergency powers now granted to commissioners' court; providing the method of contracting for the audit, the powers and duties of the Commissioners' Court and the county auditor in connection with the special audit.
SB 130	Caption: Relating to providing for the conservation and prevention of waste of underground water and to protect underground water reservoirs from pollution; defining certain terms; providing for the administration of this Act; providing for registration of water well drillers; authorizing certain rules; providing for an examining panel and prescribing its duties, providing for its organization and meetings, and fixing compensation of members; fixing certain registration, renewal and permit fees; creating a special fund to be known as the "Water Well Drillers' Fund"; making an appropriation; requiring certain bonds; containing a "grandfather clause"; providing for revocation, expiration, renewal, and re-issuance of certificates; providing for judicial review; providing exemptions; requiring water well permits and notices; providing that this Act shall not affect ownership of underground water; prescribing penalties; providing for reciprocity; providing for severability.
SB 136	Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to extend the time of existence of the Special 25th Judicial District Court of the Counties of Guadalupe, Gonzales, Lavaca and Colorado.
SB 143	Caption: Relating to narcotic drugs and barbiturates; amending the Uniform Narcotic Drug Acts by relating to making further provisions relative to drugs administered or dispensed and the maintenance of permanent records thereof; providing for severability.
