31st Regular Session
SB 13	Caption: Relating to creating a state commission of forestry consisting of certain persons; declaring certain persons ex-officio deputy forest wardens; exempting from taxation for ten years, land which shall be planted in trees; creating a Forest Reserve fund; providing for payment of all fines arising under the provision of this act into said fund.
SB 25	Caption: Relating to defining the offense of shooting at or attempting to derail any railroad train; constituting such offense a felony and prescribing punishment.
SB 43	Caption: Relating to authorizing the formation, creation and establishment of navigation districts to improve rivers, bays, creeks and streams, to construct and maintain canals and waterways, to permit of navigation or in aid thereof by the commissioners court of the several counties in this State or by navigation boards; prescribing penalties for violation of this Act.
SB 144	Caption: Relating to protecting benevolent, humane, fraternal or charitable corporations in the use of their names and emblems and providing penalty.
SB 174	Caption: Relating to providing that all actions or suits in the courts of this state for the collection of delinquent taxes shall be brought within four years after such taxes shall have become delinquent and not afterwards.
SB 178	Caption: Relating to promoting the safety of employes and travelers upon railroads in this State by limiting the hours of service of conductors, engineers, firemen and brakemen, making it unlawful for any railroad company or the receiver of any railroad company, or any officer or agent of such railroad company or receiver to require or permit any conductor, engineer, fireman or brakeman, to be or remain on duty for a longer period than sixteen consecutive hours; by imposing a penalty for each violation by any railroad company or receiver of any railroad or any of the officers or agents of such company or receiver for each and every violation of this Act.
SB 180	Caption: Relating to providing for the establishment and maintenance of an agricultural experiment station, to be located in the Fourteenth Senatorial District, composed of Jefferson, Liberty, Orange, Hardin, Tyler, Jasper, Newton, Sabine, San Augustine and Nacogdoches counties.
SB 227	Caption: Relating to prohibiting the making of political speeches and the discussion of political matters in all public houses of worship commonly called churches; fixing punishment.
SB 229	Caption: Relating to regulating the running of street cars; fixing a penalty.

SB 6	Caption: Relating to authorizing the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company to purchase the railroads and all other properties of the Texas and Gulf Railway Company now owned and hereafter acquired, and to operate the same under the charter of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company, and as part of its own lines, and to extend the said railroads and to construct branches therefrom by amendment to its charter under the general laws of the State of Texas.
SB 134	Caption: Relating to defining and providing for organizing and disciplining the militia.
SB 143	Caption: Relating to providing a lien in favor of mechanics, contractors and materialmen on oil wells, cisterns, tanks, reservoirs or artificial pools or lakes made for supplying or storing oil.
SB 228	Caption: Relating to amending certain Act defining and providing for organizing and disciplining the militia, so as to limit the amount of real and personal property that shall be owned and conveyed by militia companies to $200,000.
SB 242	Caption: Relating to providing for the relief of the Houston Light Guard, a militia company known officially as Company A," First Infantry, Texas National Guard, by rendering valid its title to armory property in the city of Houston, Texas.
