HB 98 Caption: Relating to fixing the compensation of county and district court jurors in both civil and criminal cases, jury commissioners of the district and county courts and bailiffs of the grand jury.
HB 154 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the operation, exhibition, or maintenance of pool tables, billiard tables, and ten pin alleys, and like devices for pay, compensation, fees, donations, and charges of any kind and providing that each and every day of fractional part of the day that such shall be known, operated, exhibited, kept, maintained shall constitute a separate offense for which said owner, proprietor, manager, or employee may be convicted and punished as provided in this Act, and providing a penalty therefor.
HB 172 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes defining indigency; fixing the fees of the county judge for hearing pension applications, and providing that said fee shall be $2.00, and the same shall be paid out of the general funds of the county treasury upon presentment of an account therefor to the commissioners court; and that said fees shall be accounted for as other fees of office.
HB 275 Caption: Relating to providing for the appointment of official stenographers for grand juries by the judges of the district courts presiding over same.
HB 296 Caption: Relating to amending certain titles of the Code of Criminal Procedure by providing that in all capital cases the county or district attorney prosecuting same may file a waiver of the death penalty, and the court may in his discretion refuse a special venire, when said waiver is filed, and in such event peremptory challenges to be ten each for state and defendant, and that jurors having conscientious scruples in regard to the infliction of the death penalty for crime shall not be disqualified as jurors.

HB 167 Caption: Relating to releasing soldiers, sailors and marines from any and all penalties, costs and charges which may be assessed against them by reason of non-payment of any taxes, general or special, due upon any property, personal, real or mixed, belonging to them during their term of service in the war between the Imperial German Government and the United States, beginning on April 6, 1917, and ending in June, 1919; and providing a method by which said fees, costs or penalties may be released by the tax collector and by the comptroller.
