HB 129 Caption: Relating to authorizing county superintendents of public instruction of this State to hold county institutes; providing that the attendance of teachers upon such institutes shall not be compulsory and that they shall not receive compensation from the public school funds or from any other public moneys for their attendance upon such institutes.
HB 483 Caption: Relating to providing that if any person, having in his possession any animals, money, tools, provisions, agricultural products or other personal property upon which a statutory lien of any kind exists unsatisfied, knowing such lien to be unsatisfied, shall remove such property or any part thereof out of the county where located, or who shall secrete, sell or otherwise dispose of same with the intent to defraud, the holder of said lien shall be punished in the same manner as the person embezzling the same would be liable to punishment.
HB 531 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient road system for Limestone county, Texas, prescribing ways and means of conducting and supervising the construction of roads in said county or any political subdivision or defined district thereof.
HJR 27 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 52 of Article 3 of the Constitution of the State of Texas, providing that the Legislature shall have no power to authorize any county, city, town or other political corporation or subdivision of the State to lend its credit or to grant public money or thing of value in aid of, or to any individual, association or corporation whatsoever, or become a stockholder in such corporation, association or company.
