HB 264 Caption: Relating to prohibiting domestic and foreign life insurance companies doing business in this State from investing their funds in stocks of other life insurance companies, and providing penalties for a violation of this provision.

HB 29 Caption: Relating to providing that any note, mortgage, deed of trust, or other instrument in writing evidencing any indebtedness shall be assessed for taxes by the holder or owner thereof, and the taxes thereon shall have been paid before any such note or instrument in writing shall be admissible in evidence for any purpose.
