45th Regular Session
HB 39 Caption: Relating to regulating and restricting the hours within which a person shall be permitted to operate a truck upon the highways of the State.
HB 40 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of the sum of $611,672.28, or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of any funds in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to pay the apportionment to all counties in which the county officers are compensated on the basis of a salary.
HB 63 Caption: Relating to imposing a tax on the amount paid for admission to any place with the exceptions and fixing the amount of the tax; defining certain words, terms and phrases; providing that the tax levied shall be a joint liability of the owner and operator of any place where an admission fee is charged and prescribing civil penalties for failure of such persons to pay said tax.
HB 128 Caption: Relating to providing for the compulsory adjustment, correction or repair of motor vehicles, and inspection thereof by the Department of Safety of the State of Texas, and providing a penalty for the violation of the provisions of this Act.

HB 1110 Caption: Relating to providing for the annual assessment and collection of a tax on premiums for motor vehicle insurance policies written by stock companies, mutual companies, reciprocal or inter-insurance exchanges, or Lloyds associations, to defray the salaries and expenses of carrying out the provisions of certain statute, and providing that any unexpended balance shall be carried over in succeeding years in a separate fund, and shall reduce the assessment for succeeding years.

HB 18 Caption: Relating to providing for the distribution and disposition of the jacks and stallions now owned by the State of Texas.
HB 20 Caption: Relating to declaring it unlawful to engage or assist or to use the telephone, telegraph, or radio in connection with pool selling or bookmaking at any race, speed, skill, or endurance contest of, by, or between animals, persons, or machines controlled by a person or persons, or machines controlled by an animal or animals; making any and all kinds of miscellaneous betting an offense and prescribing a penalty.
HR 59 Caption: Extending good wishes to Joseph McGill as he recovers from a fall.

HB 46 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act relative to tax on theaters.
HB 66 Caption: Relating to repealing certain Act remitting taxes to Nueces County, and providing that all moneys heretofore paid over under said Act shall be collected and deposited with the State Treasurer to the credit of the Old Age Assistance Fund and appropriating such moneys for such Fund.
HB 100 Caption: Relating to providing that upon the payment of the ad valorem tax due on any vehicle the owner thereof shall be entitled to a receipt showing such taxes paid, even if his other ad valorem taxes remain unpaid.

HB 337 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure; fees to be paid by the State to county and district attorneys in counties wherein there have been cast at the preceding Presidential election 3,000 votes or over.
HB 977 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes; issuance of refunding bonds by any district that may have availed itself of the provisions of certain statute and become a Conservation and Reclamation District.
HCR 74 Caption: Directing law enforcement agencies and courts of the State of Texas in relation to alcoholic beverages.

HB 62 Caption: Relating to creating a special road law for Collin County, Texas; providing that said County may fund or refund the indebtedness outstanding against its Road and Bridge Fund as of February 11, 1936.
