SB 90 Caption: Relating to providing for the issuance of Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,500,000) of Texas Relief Bonds, Fourth Series, under Section 51-a, of Article 3 of the Constitution of the State of Texas; prohibiting the misappropriation of relief funds, the making of false reports concerning such funds, or knowingly and unlawfully distributing or expending any of said funds, defining such act as a felony and prescribing a penalty; prohibiting the willful making of a false statement in order to procure relief funds, defining such act as a misdemeanor and prescribing a penalty; authorizing the members of the State BOard of Control, the Director and Assistant Director to administer oaths relative to discharge of their duties, or in inquiry thereto; providing that false swearing in connection therewith shall be punishable under the provisions of the Penal Law applicable to false swearing.
SB 125 Caption: Relating to providing for the authorizing of the county commissioners' court in each county of the State of Texas to purchase machine guns, submachine guns, riot guns, tear gas bombs and other paraphernalia of like character for the use of the sheriff.
SB 126 Caption: Relating to providing for the compensation of an officer or person executing a fugitive warrant beyond the limits of the State of Texas.

SB 153 Caption: Relating to checks or drafts returned unpaid when given the tax collectors or the assessors and collectors of taxes in payment of the registration license fees and number plates on any motor vehicle, truck, tractor, trailer, motorcycle or motorcycle side car.
SB 155 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to judgments and providing that where same has been recorded and indexed it shall constitute a lien against all real estate which defendant may thereafter acquire in said county.
SB 181 Caption: Relating to increasing the powers and duties of the State Board of Embalming so as to prescribe and maintain a standard of proficiency as to the qualifications of those engaged, and who may engage, in the practice of funeral directing in connection with the care and disposition of dead human bodies by providing that said State Board of Embalming shall adopt rules, regulations and by-laws for examination and licensing of funeral directors and the practice of funeral direction; prescribing a penalty.
SB 182 Caption: Relating to providing for the appointment of the members of the State Board of Embalming so as to create a rotating Board and to enlarge the term of office to six (6) years.
SB 262 Caption: Relating to fees to be charged by its clerk for services not specifically provided by statute.
SB 265 Caption: Relating to defining "transportation agent"; providing certain exceptions; regulating the business of transportation agents; prescribing the duties of the Railroad Commission with relation to transportation agents; fixing a penalty for violations of this Act.
SB 266 Caption: Relating to the discharge of fines and costs in misdemeanor cases.
SB 293 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, out of the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be used by the State Depository Board to pay rent for safety deposit boxes rented by the Board from any bank located in the City of Austin for the purpose of depositing securities, where such obligations for rent have been incurred by the State Depository Board.
SB 300 Caption: Relating to providing that the judges of election shall number any accepted ballots which may have been challenged.
SB 301 Caption: Relating to providing for and requiring that agents for Statewide mutual assessment life insurance companies, Statewide mutual assessment health and accident insurance companies, local mutual aid associations and fraternal benefit societies shall become subject to this Act and licensed by the Insurance Department of the State of Texas.
SB 302 Caption: Relating to defining abstacters and the abstract business; requiring all abstracters to apply for and receive from the Board of Insurance Commissioners a certificate of authority to engage in the abstract business.
SB 362 Caption: Relating to further regulating and providing a means and method of securing service of process on Federal Relief Agencies operating and doing business in the State of Texas, including Federal Housing Administration, Home Owners' Loan Corporation, any National Mortgage Association, any National Mortgage Savings and Loan INsurance Corporation, created and/or to be created by or under authority of an Act of Congress of the United States of America.
SB 363 Caption: Relating to exempting the State of Texas, any county in the State, any State department or the head of any State department and corporations created and/or to be created by or under authority of any Act of Congress of the United States of America as a national relief organization from giving security for costs or the posting of bond or bonds in securing any extraordinary writs in any action brought in their official capacity in the courts of this State.
SB 383 Caption: Relating to requiring permits for the erection or construction of buildings or improvements on real estate or installation of mechanical equipment placed on lease or lease contract within any county in this State where the value of such improvement or installation exceeds $300.00 or more, providing that the Assessor and Collector of Taxes shall administer oaths, issue permits, make inspections and together with the Comptroller of Public Accounts shall carry out the provisions of this Act; making it a misdemeanor for violation of the terms hereof and fixing penalties therefor.
SB 446 Caption: Relating to making better provision for the regulation of the sale and dealings in stocks, bonds, and securities in this State, including any share, stock, treasury stock, stock certificate under a voting trust agreement, collateral trust certificate, preorganization certificate or receipt, subscription or reorganization certificate, note, bond, debenture, mortgage certificate or other evidence of indebtedness.
SB 455 Caption: Relating to giving authority to the Fitzpatrick Construction Company to sue State and State Highway Department of Texas.
SB 461 Caption: Relating to appropriating Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the purchase of fire insurance on the State Capitol Building.
SB 472 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the teaching of any political, economic or social doctrines opposed to or destructive of the Constitutional System of Government of the United States, by any teacher, lecturer or instructor of any school, public or private, in the State of Texas, and further providing for the taking of an oath by any such instructor, lecturer or teacher, to be filed in the office of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, for the faithful performance of his or her duties and to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and of the State of Texas; and providing penalties for the violation of this Act for the excluding of citizens of foreign countries from the necessity of taking such oaths.
SB 490 Caption: Relating to regulation of disputes arising from contracts awarded by the State Highway Commission.

SB 518 Caption: Relating to exempting from taxation institutions or organizations such as Texas Federation of Women's Clubs of Texas or local organizations of such a body.
SB 519 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Courts to purchase out of the general fund half-ton trucks to be used by the respective commissioners in the discharge of their duties.
SB 526 Caption: Relating to transferring the use and possession of 16.66 acres of land out of the George W. Spear Headright League adjoining Camp Mabry in Travis County, Texas, title to which is now in the State of Texas, authorizing the Highway Department to pay to the Adjutant General's Department the sum of Thirty-two Hundred ($3200.00) Dollars, making an appropriation to the Adjutant General's Department of such sum so received, and authorizing the Adjutant General's Department to purchase for the State of Texas a suitable right-of-way and entrance to Camp Mabry.
SB 528 Caption: Relating to providing for an additional Assistant District Attorney for the 53rd Judicial District of Texas, prescribing his qualifications, who shall be authorized to perform any official act devolving upon or authorized to be performed by the District Attorney of such District, requiring him to take the oath of office, and who shall hold office subject to the will of the District Attorney, making an appropriation for his salary for the ensuing biennium.

SB 34 Caption: Relating to appropriating money to pay judgment for the sum of Twelve Hundred ($1200.00) Dollars against the State of Texas in favor of R. D. Winder in cause No. 52982 in the 126th District Court of Travis County.
SB 39 Caption: Relating to fixing the compensation of district attorneys in certain judicial districts in counties containing a population of not less than 77,777 and not more than 100,000 inhabitants, as shown by the last preceding Federal Census, which such counties comprise within themselves two or more judicial districts.
SB 45 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient road law for Lampasas County, Texas, authorizing the court to require surety bonds of road overseers, validating the proceedings heretofore had by the County, and by its officials in reference to the issuance of warrants for the purchase of right of way, and validating the proceedings and other actions taken by the County and its officials in reference to the issuance of funding bonds in lieu of certain warrants.
SB 63 Caption: Relating to amending Section 3 of the Lower Colorado River Authority Act, so as to provide that Directors of the Lower Colorado River Authority shall receive fees and expenses for attending meetings of the board and attending to other business of the authority.

SB 14 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to bonds given by the commissioners court so that the requirements and provisions of said statute shall remain and be the same as to the present, except that it shall provide that funds provided by the tax collector of each county shall bear interest on daily balances at the rate, of any, fixed for such deposits of the tax collector by the commissioners court in its order designating such depository or depositories.
SB 20 Caption: Relating to fixing the time for making election returns by presiding judges in general and special elections, and amending Article 3123 so as to fix the time for making precinct and county election returns in party primary elections; fixing a penalty for the failure to make such returns within the time prescribed by this Act.
SB 30 Caption: Relating to providing for storage of wild game birds, or wild game animals in public cold storage plants; providing suitable penalties.
SB 160 Caption: Relating to changing the compensation of district attorneys form a salary basis to a fee basis in certain judicial districts.
SB 170 Caption: Relating to providing that the license fees on motor vehicles imposed by certain statute will not become delinquent until on and after April first of the calendar year for which the license fee is imposed; and prescribing a penalty for failure to comply with the terms of this Act.

SB 245 Caption: Relating to designating and fixing the Third day of November as "Father of Texas Day" in memory of Stephen F. Austin, the real and true Father of Texas.
SB 252 Caption: Relating to requiring moving picture machines or projectors operating in this state to be provided with equipment to be approved by the State Fire Insurance Commissioner of Texas and the Underwriters Laboratories of the National Board of Fire Underwriters, affording the utmost possible means of automatically and instantly preventing fires resulting from the explosion or igntion of motion picture films, and such equipment shall be constantly maintainedi n an efficient working condition; providing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
SB 290 Caption: Relating to changing the manner and amount of the salary of official shorthand reporters in each judicial district in any county which alone constitutes two or mroe judicial districts.
SB 360 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Republic Bank & Trust Company of Austin, Texas, and the First National Bank of DeKalb, Texas, at DeKalb, Texas, as innocent purchasers of certain deficiency certificates issued by the Comptroller of the State of Texas, to sue the State of Texas on said deficiency certificates.
SB 425 Caption: Relating to requiring bonds to be given by all active or salaried officers and employees of State banking institutions whose duties permit or require them to handle bank funds.
SB 467 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the establishment of crematories, mausoleums or crematories, so as to provide for the establishment of same within one mile of the city limits of an incorporated city or town under certain restrictions.
