HB 33 Caption: Relating to repealing certain acts of the General and Special Laws relative to providing for the creation of a Legislative Audit Committee and fixing its duties; providing for the appointment of a State Auditor and fixing his duties; providing for the creation of a uniform budget system and fixing its procedures; designating the Governor as the chief budget officer and prescribing his duties; providing for the appointment of a Director of the Budget and fixing his duties.
HB 41 Caption: Relating to providing that there shall hereafter be paid out of the revenue of this State, on the last day of each month, to each bona fide citizen of this State over the age of sixty five years the sum of fifteen dollars per month as an old age pension; assigning the State Department of Welfare, County Judges, and Commissioners' Court as administrators and defining their duties.

HB 23 Caption: Relating to amending House Bill No. 397, passed by the Regular Session of the Forty-seventh Legislature, 1941, validating the order of the Commissioners Court of Bowie County, Texas, which required the County Tax Assessor and Collector to accept in full payment of all county taxes delinquent for the years 1930, 1931, 1932, and 1933, and due in 1934, the sum of Fifty (50) Cents on the dollar; and instructing the State Comptroller to abide by the order of the said Commissioners Court.
HB 58 Caption: Relating to authorizing the sheriffs of counties in Texas, having National Defense Projects to appoint additional deputies in writing under certain conditions.

HB 3 Caption: Relating to providing a system of Old Age Assistance, establishing certain funds for Old Age Assistance, making appropriations, and repealing all laws that conflict herewith.
HB 6 Caption: Relating to levying an occupation tax on oil produced within this State of six (6) cents per barrel of forty-two (42) standard gallons.
HB 199 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioners' Court of any county, in case of the inability of the regularly elected County Judge to perform the duties of his office, or in case of his absence from the county for a period of ten (10) days, to appoint some person qualified under the law to be elected to the office of County Judge, to serve as County Judge during the disability or absence of the regularly elected County Judge, and during such time, to have and exercise all of the powers of the duly elected County Judge of such county, and providing of the compensation of the persons selected.
HB 200 Caption: Relating to defining the term "Dance Hall," providing that any person, firm or corporation desiring to operate a Dance Hall shall apply for and secure license from the State Comptroller of Public Accounts.
HB 383 Caption: Relating to requiring the licensing of all dogs in the State over six months of age and to further require that no license shall be issued until a certificate of a physician or licensed veterinarian shall be furnished the proper authorities showing that the dog to be licensed has been vaccinated with anti-rabies serum within thirty days of the date of application; providing a penalty.
HB 384 Caption: Relating to prohibiting Commissioners' Court of any county in this State from transferring funds from the general fund of the county to the Officers' Salary Fund.
HB 482 Caption: Relating to releasing the interest and penalties on all delinquent ad valorem and poll taxes that were delinquent on or before August 1, 1936, due the State, any county, city, school district, road district, levee improvement district, water improvement district and water control and improvement district, irrigation district and other defined subdivisions of the State, provided same are paid before May 15, 1937.
HJR 12 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 1-a of Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Texas, exempting Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars of the assessed taxable value of all residence homesteads, as now defined by law, from all State, county, city, town, district and other political subdivision purposes.

HB 319 Caption: Relating to granting to Willis Fountain of New Boston, Bowie County, Texas, permission to bring suit against the State Highway Department in the District Court of Bowie County, Texas, for damages sustained to his property by the construction of dams on each side of Highway No. 8 which runs between the towns of New Boston and Corley in Bowie County, diverting the water on the farm of Willis Fountain.
HB 678 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes; increasing the rate on certain sections of the Inheritance Tax Law, including inheritance by wife and children, domestic bequest, inheritance by brother or sister, by uncle or aunt and foreign bequests as classified in said Inheritance Tax Law.
HB 762 Caption: Relating to providing that no license may be issued an agent until proof of solvency and stability of the company, association, or society sought to be represented has been furnished by the Insurance Department; providing for license fee; fixing a penalty.
HB 824 Caption: Relating to providing relief for the DeKalb Independent School District of Bowie County, Texas, in order to aid said district in rebuilding its properties and equipping its school which was destroyed by fire on December 4, 1934.
HB 948 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the use of any seine, gill net or trammel net for taking fish from any of the waters of Bowie County, except a seine, gill net or trammel net of not less than two inches square mesh; providing a penalty.

HJR 5 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 1a of Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Texas, exempting Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) of the assessed taxable value of all residence homesteads, as now defined by law, form all State, county, city, town, district and other political subdivision purposes.
HJR 19 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Article III of the Constitution of the State of Texas, providing that the Legislature shall have the power to cooperate with the United States of America in providing for and paying an old age pension to actual bona fide citizens of Texas over the age of sixty-five years who have not been convicted of a felony within ten years next prior to the granting of such pension and who have never been convicted of being an habitual criminal.
HJR 41 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 1 of Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Texas, providing that taxation of real property shall be equal and uniform.
HJR 45 Caption: Proposing an Amendment to the State Constitution, providing a means of paying off road indebtedness heretofore incurred by political subdivisions of the State.

HB 36 Caption: Relating to defining the term "Dance Hall"; providing that any person, firm or corporation desiring to operate a Dance Hall shall apply for and secure a license from the State Comptroller of Public Accounts; levying an annual occupation tax of $25.00 against each person, firm or corporation operating a Dance Hall; providing that any person, firm, corporation, partnership or association of persons operating a Dance Hall without having paid the occupation tax provided for herein shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor subject to conviction and fine in any sum not less than $25.00 nor more than $500.00.
