HB 86 Caption: Relating to changing the method for handling delinquent children from the present criminal procedure to guardianship in order to secure for each child coming within the Act such care, guidance and control as will serve the child's welfare and the best interest of the State; providing a saving clause and a repealing clause.
HB 112 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by fixing the compensation of the first assistant or chief deputy sheriff and other deputy sheriffs in counties where the population is not less than 15,000 and not more than 15,100 inhabitants according to the last preceding Federal Census and with a total area of not less than 569,250 square acres of land and not more than 569,500 square acres of land, the salary of the chief deputy sheriff in any county shall not exceed Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($2,400.00) per annum and the salary of any other assistant deputy sheriff shall not exceed Two Thousand One Hundred ($2,100.00) Dollars per annum.
HB 123 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes providing for the maximum compensation of county officials in any county where the population is not less than 15,000 and not more than 15,100 inhabitants according to the last preceding Federal Census and with a total area of not less than 569,250 square acres of land and not more than 569,500 square acres of land.

HB 181 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to take or kill wild quail of any species for a period of five (5) years in Andrews County, Texas; fixing penalty.
HB 316 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to provide that a registered architect who has entered service in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard subsequent to October 1, 1940, and who was at the time of his entry into said service or is now in good standing as a registered architect, shall have his name continued on the list of registered architects and shall be exempt from the payment of any further license fee during his service, as aforesaid, and until honorably discharged, and when honorably discharged from the service shall be exempt from the payment of such fee for the then current fiscal year.
HB 391 Caption: Relating to establishing coordinated county child welfare advisory councils for the purpose of assisting and advising local judicial, administrative, and educational authorities in preventing increase of juvenile delinquency and solving the child welfare problem in each county in the state.
