SB 29 Caption: Relating to the prevention and control of communicable disease; defining certain terms; providing for the report of certain diseases; prescribing a penalty.
SB 53 Caption: Relating to providing that any person of good moral character who, on May 22, 1937, had been engaged in the practice of architecture in this State as his or her vocation for a period of at least six (6) months prior to said date and and who failed to contain a registration certificate, may have thirty (30) days from the date upon which this Act goes into effect in which to file with the Board of Architectural Examiners the affidavit and pay the fee of Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars in order to obtain a certificate authorizing such person to practice Architecture in the State of Texas, as provided in said Act, and further amending said Act.
SB 65 Caption: Relating to providing for the protection of unborn children and the public health by requiring premarital examinations for syphilis; providing penalties for violation thereof.
SB 66 Caption: Relating to providing for the protection of unborn children and the public health by an Act requiring standard serologic blood tests for syphilis on pregnant women; providing a saving clause and prescribing a penalty.
SB 77 Caption: Relating to declaring the floods of Colorado County, Fayette County, and Jackson County, Texas to be a public calamity; authorizing donation and grants.

SB 208 Caption: Relating to amending law relating to Board of Cosmetology to provide requirements for students and demonstrators, etc.; providing for penalties for the violation thereof; providing for repealing certain sections; providing a savings clause.
SB 228 Caption: Relating to changing the name of Prairie View State Normal and Industrial College for colored teachers to Prairie View University and providing for the establishment of courses in law, medicine, engineering, pharmacy, journalism, or any other generally recognized college course taught at the University of Texas, in such University, whenever there is any demand for any of such courses.
SB 238 Caption: Relating to providing that any insurance company or association licensed by the Board of Insurance Commissioners to operate may issue policies on the stipulated or specified premium plan which allow the insured the privilege of paying regular premiums weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually as he may choose from time to time.
SB 250 Caption: Relating to requiring applicants for registration of motor vehicles subject to registration by law to present receipts showing other taxes on vehicles paid for the past year.
SB 262 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by fixing the authority and duties of assessors and collectors of taxes in counties having a population of more than 395,000, etc.

SB 350 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation for the support and maintenance of the Monument Hill State Park for the two-year period beginning September 1, 1945, and ending August 31, 1947, to be administered by the Texas State Parks Board.

SB 80 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code to provide that the editing, publishing or dissemination of any newspaper, pamphlet, magazine or any printed paper devoted mainly to the publications of scandals, whoring, lechery, assignations, intrigues between men and women and immoral conduct of persons, or the possession or keeping for sale or distribution or assisting in the sale or distribution of any such newspaper, pamphlet, magazine, or printed matter, or the showing of lewd and lascivious pictures in penny arcade machines, or the distribution or sale of indecent objects or images, shall be a misdemeanor offense, the penalty for which shall be confinement in the County Jail for not to exceed six months and a fine not to exceed One Thousand Dollars; and repealing all laws in conflict with this act insofar as they conflict with this act.
SB 176 Caption: Relating to amending certain laws to provide that where a divorce is granted, children of the marriage shall be supported until they reach the age of eighteen (18) years.
SB 182 Caption: Relating to declaring the floods of Colorado County, Fayette County, and Jackson County, Texas, to be a public calamity; authorizing a donation and grant of one-half of the state ad valorem taxes collected in specified counties.
SB 212 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to pay J.L. Stierling, Warrant No. 88470, dated February 7, 1935, on which payment is prohibited by the Statute of Limitation.
SB 218 Caption: Relating to providing that any person of good moral character who, on May 22, 1937, had been engaged in the practice of architecture in this state as his or her principal vocation for a period of at least six (6) months prior to said date, and who failed to obtain a registration certificate may have thirty (30) days from the date upon which this Act goes into effect in which to file with the Board of Architectural Examiners the affidavit and pay the fee of Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars in order to obtain a certificate authorizing such person to practice architecture in the State of Texas.
SB 219 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to provide that any person who was a teacher on January 1, 1930, and who has rendered thirty-five years or more of creditable service as a teacher shall be member and entitled to benefits under the Teachers Retirement Act, regardless of any other provisions and such a person may apply at any time for service retirement.
SB 281 Caption: Relating to providing that it is unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or association of persons, to reproduce, print or prepare or to sell or furnish any printed, multigraphed or mimeographed list or lists prepared by or under the direction of the Commissioner of the General Land Office of the State of Texas, offering for sale or lease any State or Public School Land, and providing a penalty therefor.

SB 93 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act so as to exempt therefrom associations not operated for profit, composed only of the members of a particular religious denomination which do not provide insurance benefits in excess of One Thousand ($1,000) Dollars.
SB 113 Caption: Relating to providing a method of issuing and registering for payment public school warrants drawn on the local maintenance funds; providing for payment of such warrants in the order of registration; prohibiting the purchase of warrants at a discount and providing a penalty.
SB 122 Caption: Relating to extending by thirty (30) days the time wherein architects may obtain a registration certificate to practice their profession in Texas.

SB 186 Caption: Relating to establishing a definite policy of this State with reference to the operation of dams and reservoirs constructed by public authorities; fixing the proportion of reservoir storage which shall be dedicated to the purpose of controlling flood waters; providing penalties for the violation of any of the provisions hereof.
SB 187 Caption: Relating to providing that the salary and expenses of the official Court Reporter in each Judicial District in this State having four (4) or more counties and having a certain population be paid out of the Jury fund.

SB 255 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act relating to creating a more efficient Road System for Lavaca County, Texas.

SB 365 Caption: Relating to providing for the giving of a bond in certain instances, by trustees who are appointed by will, deed or other instrument in writing and holding property for the use and benefit of others
SB 381 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the use of dogs in the hunting, pursuing or taking of deer in Lavaca County; permitting the use of one dog in trailing a wounded deer.
SB 389 Caption: Relating to creating the Texas Marketing Commission; providing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
SB 414 Caption: Relating to prescribing the method for the annexation of unoccupied territory contiguous and adjacent to the city limits of certain incorporated cities or towns, on petition of the owners of all such territory.
SB 453 Caption: Relating to providing for acquiring and acceptance of title of about 14 acres of the original Five League Grant, from San Felipe Park Association and Corporation of San Felipe de Austin to about six hundred fifty (650) acres of land situated in Austin County, Texas, and being a part of the original Five League Grant from the Republic of Mexico to the town of San Felipe de Austin; providing for management and control, beautifying and improving said land, the same to be designated by name as "Stephen F. Austin State Park."

SB 487 Caption: Relating to amending certain Act creating a Firemen's Relief and Retirement Fund in the State of Texas so as to exempt the premiums and assessments collected by county mutual insurance companies from the tax provided in said Act.
SB 512 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be unlawful to hunt or kill prairie chickens in this State for a period of three (3) years from and after the passage of this Act; providing a penalty for violation of this Act.
SB 513 Caption: Relating to providing relief for the Vienna Common School District No. 50 in Lavaca County in replacing and repairing damage to buildings and equipment caused by a calamitous flood resulting from a cloudburst on July 1st, 1936, making an appropriation for said districts to replace and repair such damage.
