SB 22 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Board of Regents of the Sam Houston State Teachers College of Texas to acquire and maintain and operate an airport for said institution for national defense and for instruction in aeronautics.
SB 130 Caption: Relating to releasing to the members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America and their auxiliaries and members of the Armed Forces Reserve of the United States of America and their auxiliaries all interest and penalties accruing subsequent to their entry into such service, on State and county ad valorem taxes accruing on property listed on the tax rolls of any county in the name of such members of the Armed Forces or their auxiliaries or the Armed Forces Reserve or their auxiliaries prior to the time they joined such Armed Forces or such auxiliaries.
SB 158 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to extend the time of existence of the Special 9th District Court of Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto and Trinity Counties, and fixing the effective date of the beginning of such extension.
SB 185 Caption: Relating to making a specific appropriation out of the General Revenue Fund of the State of Texas not otherwise appropriated, to pay a judgment obtained by National Biscuit Company against the State of Texas pursuant to the resolution granted by the State of Texas to the said National Biscuit Company authorizing it to sue the State of Texas for the recovery of filing fees and franchise taxes paid to the Secretary of the State of Texas, which filing fees and franchise taxes the Courts of the State of Texas held to have been illegally collected.
SB 202 Caption: Relating to requiring all state and district officers that are appointed by the Governor of Texas and are required to be confirmed by the Senate of Texas, to take the oath of office and qualify within ten days from the date of the confirmation of such appointee by the Senate of Texas; repealing all laws or parts of laws, both general and special, in conflict with this Act.
