HB 70 Caption: Relating to creating a nine member Game, Fish and Oyster Commission; dividing the State into nine districts to be numbered one to nine, inclusive, with one member from each district; providing for the appointment, compensation, bond, duties, and functions of the Game, Fish and Oyster Commission; and providing for an executive secretary, assistant executive secretary to be appointed by the Commission and providing for all necessary game and fish wardens, division heads and other employees of said Game, Fish, and Oyster Commission; providing a residence requirement; providing necessary appropriation out of the State Treasury.
HB 75 Caption: Relating to making it illegal for any person, firm, corporation or group of persons to rent or let for hire any boat upon any of the lakes of this State without having such boat equipped with one (1) life preserver for each person aboard; providing a penalty for violation thereof.
HB 76 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to provide that no person who has been elected to an executive, administrative, judicial or legislative public office in the State of Texas for a term of more than two (2) years shall be eligible to run for nomination or election to any other public office the term of which would begin before the expiration of the term of the original office to which such person was elected, without first resigning from such original office.

HB 30 Caption: Relating to the levy of a privilege tax upon the gathering of natural gas produced in this State; defining terms; excluding certain gas from the definition; requiring the keeping of records; providing for the administration and enforcement hereof by the Comptroller of Public Accounts; providing penalty for failure to pay the tax in accordance with the provisions of the Act; providing and defining an offense for failure to file the reports ad required in the Act; providing and defining an offense and a penalty for making false records or reports or hiding property upon which a lien is created under the Act; providing that taxes, fines, penalties and interest due under the Act shall be secured by a lien upon the property of such gatherer, and providing for enforcement of the lien; providing for the distribution of the revenue to be realized under the Act; providing a saving clause; repealing all laws in conflict herewith.
