HB 46 Caption: Relating to providing that the moneys allocated to counties from the Lateral Road Account shall be used to pay requirements of bonds the proceeds of which were used for construction or improvement of hard-surfaced farm-to-market roads of not less than two lanes, including the purchase of right-of-way, which roads were constructed or improved under the supervision of the State Highway Department.
HB 553 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to increase the motor fuel tax levied therein from four (4) cents to five (5) cents per gallon; changing the allocation of the motor fuel tax collected; providing for the placing of the funds allocated to Farm-to-Market Roads in a fund known as the Farm-to-Market Road Fund and providing for their expenditure; providing for the placing of the funds allocated for the construction and maintenance of streets in incorporated cities and towns in a fund known as the City Street Fund and providing for their expenditure.
