HB 9 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts to provide free tuition for all pupils over six (6) years of age and not over twenty-one (21) years of age in certain school districts.
HB 247 Caption: Relating to enabling the Commissioners' Court of the Counties having a population of 40,083 or more inhabitants and containing therein a city of 21,000 or more inhabitants according to the last preceding federal census, and in which counties the County Attorney performs the duties of the District Attorney, to authorize the County Attorney to employ one investigator and granting to the Commissioners' Court of such counties the authority to fix the salary of such investigator at any sum not less than $2,400.00 per year and not more than $3,600.00 per year.
HB 390 Caption: Relating to providing that in all actions brought to recover damages for personal injuries, injuries resulting in death of injury to property the contributory negligence of the person injured or his agent, or the owner of the property, or person having control over the property, shall not be a complete bar to the recovery of damages, but such damages shall be diminished by the jury in proportion to the contributory negligence shown.
HB 703 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide for employment of retired members under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas; providing for the suspension of benefits during said employment; providing for resumption of benefits upon discontinuing employment on same basis of original retirement.
