HB 624 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, providing that in the trial for all suits for divorce where there is a child or children, under sixteen years of age, as an issue or the marriage sought to be dissolved, the court shall enter an interlocutory degree preventing either party from marrying any other person for one year, and providing that no final divorce judgment shall be entered until one year after the interlocutory decree is entered.

HB 47 Caption: Relating to authorizing any County in the State to establish a Civil Service for certain of the employees of the County Government and providing for the election or appointment of a Civil Service Commission; repealing all laws in conflict.
HB 133 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, providing that any incorporated city or town in the State of Texas shall be authorized and empowered to levy and collect a city permit fee or a street rental charge on motor vehicles transporting passengers for hire under the provisions of a city ordinance and not under permit or certificate of the Railroad Commission of the State of Texas or the Interstate Commerce Commission.
HB 219 Caption: Relating to amending and re-enacting Article 5517 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, so that no person may acquire a title by limitation to any lands owned by any city or county.
HB 220 Caption: Relating to amend a previous Act, making bribing of officials, players and participants in athletic contests a crime.
HB 599 Caption: Relating to declaring a public calamity to exist in El Paso and Hudspeth Counties, Texas, and granting and donating to said Counties for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the taxable year 1947, State ad valorem taxes collected for general revenue purposes in said Counties; providing that if any portion of this Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Act.
HB 606 Caption: Relating to declaring the waters of underground streams, channels, artesian basins, reservoirs or lakes, having reasonably ascertainable boundaries, to belong to the public, to be subject to appropriation for beneficial use, to be a natural resource subject to and requiring conservation, development and regulation in the manner and for the uses named in the Act; providing penalties for violation of the provisions of the Act; defining waste and prescribing a penalty therefor.
HB 795 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, authorizing certain water control and improvement districts to issue revenue bonds for the purpose of constructing extensions and improvements to water and sewer systems and irrigation systems, and to pledge the net revenues derived from the operation of such irrigation systems to the payment of such bonds, and providing that such bonds may be issued in one or more issues; validating certain districts.
